Agnes: A bold new stage
Designed by CAKE Architecture, inspired by the work of painter Agnes Martin.
Where high-reaching design meets textured sound, Agnes brings artist and audience closer.
Designed by CAKE Architecture and influenced by the abstract expressionism of painter Agnes Martin, this two-tiered, 7-metre-high structure will give absolute prominence to each performance. Through floating walls, two elevated and one central dance platform, space finds new ways to engage with sound and crowd.
Global tastemakers NTS present a full day of music inside our new space. Keep your eyes peeled for stage curations coming soon.
Agnes is an ambitious evolution to last year’s intimate Lectern and will sit alongside core stages Visionaire and Channel.
A bold and contemplative new creation, Agnes has been designed to bring us closer together to congratulate within sound and space. The modular stage features open spans, floating walls, and hand-painted corrugated panels inspired by painter Agnes Martin's abstract expressionism. The layout includes two large dance floors, a central round stage, and elevated platforms for prime viewing. Inside, a mirror-polished DJ booth, a debris net chandelier, and custom plinths.
