YHWH Nailgun

Meet YHWH Nailgun. Deliberately undefinable and proudly "anti-algorithm," the New York experimental rock quartet bring their searing energy to Agnes.

Across punk, noise, electronic, dub, and abstraction, YHWH operate like a system under tension. Their debut album 45 Pounds sharpened that approach; a white-knuckle rejection of irony-era indie detachment – as Crack Magazine put it – think “Animal Collective meets Death Grips via Show Me the Body, with a hint of math-rock veterans Battles.” A meeting of ideas and emotion. Ongoing collision. An idea that mutates with every release, including their recent 11-minute, 10-track record Magazine (out via 4ad).

If you caught their NTS pop up in London, you already know: sacred imagery, ecstatic noise, and pressure-cooked intensity. Next stop: Southwark Park.
