One of RALLY 2025’s most anticipated performances, this summer we welcome the rare talent and avant-garde fusions of POiSON GiRL FRiEND.

Emerging from Japan’s electronic underground in the ’90s, POiSON GiRL FRiEND forged a signature sound: ambient pop, trip-hop, and synth-drenched dreamscapes shaped by Brazilian rhythms, French chanson, and global club culture. Her 1992 debut Melting Moment — a lush blend of ambient house and classical strings — remains a cult touchstone, at once futuristic and timeless.

After a quiet period, nOrikO began releasing new work again in the 2010s, with projects like RondoElectro. Recent years have seen a swell of deserved attention through social media discovery and renewed listening to dreamy classics like ‘Melting Moment’ and ‘Hardly Ever Smile (Without You)’ — bringing her unmistakable sonics to a new generation of listeners. The first official vinyl release of Melting Moment in 2024 only reaffirmed her enduring power to send ripples through time and space.

On Saturday 23rd August, POiSON GiRL FRiEND performs live in London’s Southwark Park for RALLY 2025. Expect an ethereal and immersive portal into one of electronic music’s most quietly influential figures.
