Najaaraq Vestbirk, aka Courtesy, is a Danish artist and DJ based in Berlin. She is known for her diverse dance music selections spanning house, techno, Detroit electro, speed garage, ambient trance, and experimental music. Vestbirk has toured worldwide, playing at renowned venues and festivals such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Tresor, Sonar, Primavera, and Atonal.

She holds a residency on NTS Radio and is the founder and creative director of Against Interpretation Club (formerly Kulør), an interdisciplinary arts platform that curates dance music releases, publications, and events. Her sophomore album, Intimate Yellow, was released in October 2024.

Vestbirk’s work bridges her roles as DJ, composer, performer, and visual artist. She values connection—whether through crowds on the dance floor, collaborative performances, or solitary creative research in her Berlin studio. Her music pays homage to influential painters and writers like R.H. Quaytman, Susan Sontag, and John Berger.
